What We Do
We listen to your music by ear and write down every note (using electronic scoring can be inaccurate). Then, we notate your piece into Sibelius, the industry-leading notation software. We serve a wide variety of clients, including accomplished musical composers and musical theater composers who need their musicals scored to sheet music. In addition, we’ve done a considerable amount of work transcribing music for full jazz ensembles (26 piece bands), small jazz ensembles (3 to 7 musicians) and jazz solos that are generally not transcribed by other music transcription services due to very high-level complexity. Our most in-depth work is with modern classical composers who compose full orchestras.
What Do You Get?
The final product will be sent to you via e-mail as an Acrobat PDF file or if you prefer, a copy can be faxed or mailed to you. We can produce a conductor’s score, individual instrumental score or both. Please let us know what you need.
What Is Our Turn-around Time?
We typically transcribe your music within a 24 to 48 hour time-frame. If the piece is a classical symphony with many movements, turn-around time will be longer. We will give you an estimate for particularly long pieces. We are a U.S. based and operated company that prides itself on timely, pleasant and meaningful customer service.
